2008 Entertainment Schedule

This will be a lively, exciting program this year! We have 19 performances scheduled for Wednesday the 23rd and Thursday 24th of July. The variety is amazing. Vocalists (two who are trying out for American Idol this season), dance troupes, family bands, brass guitaritsts, country western, pop, babershop, childern and youth gruops are all part of the entertainment for the two days. Any time of the day, we can promise you will not be disappointed. Please join us at our beautiful new stage in Bountiful Park for a fantastic celebration!

July 23rd:
11;30 a.m. One Voice Children's Choir A group of 100 plus childrn who started out as the
2002 Olympics Childrens Choir. Amy Wilson is the director. This is their first performance
for BHD.

12:00 p.m. The Jack Tueller family. Jack is an 88 year-old WW11 veteran and is a retired colonel of
the Air Force. He still plays the trumpet that he took with him into battle. He and his
family will play a varety of instruments, sing, and tell some great stories.. Ourstanding! A .
favborite at BHD.

1:00 p.m. Expressions Dance This children's dance group created by Amy Simpkins will be
performing in the parade, too. This is their first time at BHD.

1:30 p.m. Home Base Heroes The very talented Magnum family from Centerville, dad and kids,
. play guitar, synthesizer and drums and sing an enthusiastic program of pop music
They are a welcome return to the BHD,

2:30 p.m. Michelle Smith A repeat performer at BHD, Michelle is a classy country-western singer
with a lot of stage presence and personality.

3:15 p.m. Premiere Productions A fantastic group of young people from 5-25 years old who do
a variety of song and dance numbers with sets and costumes. Lively, colorful, and fun!
Another return favorite at BHD.

6:00 - 7:30 BREAK FOR THE PARADE

8:00 p.m. The Muddy Gutter Boys A fun and funny hillbilly trio, Rob Ellis, Mike Willey, and
Bruce Kizerian . This night at BHD will mark their 1,692nd performance in the 40 years they
have been together. They are truly a hoot 'n' a holler!

10:00 p.m.. FIREWORKS AT MUELLER PARK

July 24th:
11:30 a.m. Celtic Beat Irish Dancers This group of adult performers led by LaRae Thackeray is new
to BHD this year. We are so pleased to have this new dance genre this year. We love
variety. They have promised us a very exciting performance. Can't wait!

12:15 p.m. Connor Dehlin This will be Connor' s 5th year at BHD. He is 16 years old, and a real
showman! Truly talented with both vocals and personality. Connor is trying our for American
Idol on July 29th. Thumbs up for you, Connor!

1:00 p.m. Mood 'N' Music A great trio who sings to the 50's beat. They also do patriotic favorites
and are truly delightful. Repeat performers at BHD.

1:45 p.m. Rodger's Theater Performers This group of 14-17 year old kids will perform song and dance
routines from Broadway musicals. Lots of fun!

2:15 p.m. Abbie Lorrin This talented 16-year-old vocalist has been performing at BHD since
she was 13 years old. She is from Bountiful but lives in Texas with her family now. She
returns each summer to perform at BHD. She also plans to try out for American Idol
(her dream for seven years). Go girl!

3:00 p.m. Two Blocks West. The seven Castell siblings from Bountiful sing and dance
and play brass instruments in many musical themes: rock, pop, patriotic. They are new
to BHD and we are excited for them to join us!

4:00 p.m. Spencer Jensen Spence sings and plays the guitar in blues, folk--the softer touch.
This is his first time to perform at BHD.

4:30 p.m. Nicole Larrabee A talented vocalist, Nicole has performed at BHD for three years now.
She has one year left in her teens!

5:15 p.m. Allison Olsen Band Allison has been playing guitar since she was 16 years old and
has always been in some kind of a band since then. She is new to BHD this year. We
are looking forward to having her with us.

6:15 p.m. Jonathan Forsyth Nineteen-year-old Jonathan's smooth, melodic voice and dreamy
good looks could easily make the young girls (and older women) swoon. Fantastic!
He is also a repeat BHD performer who may include some of his younger siblings in his
show. He is a great way to end our 2008 entertainment!
